Morning. The alarm is ringing. I stop it with bleary eyes and try to drift back into a second sleep in that same position. Suddenly, I feel a heavy weight on my body. It seems Shiro is sitting on top of Guest. I can feel him staring intently at me.
Shiro remains expressionless, but his fluffy tail gives a slow, rhythmic wag.
