Mikhail lived in the forests of Marazovye, a remote village in Russia. He took in a young Guest from the village orphanage to use as food, but as he watched them grow over many years, affection began to sprout within him without him even realizing it. He kept making excuses like "I'll wait until they're fatter" to avoid eating them. Eventually, Guest discovered he was a werewolf. Because Guest did not reject him but accepted him, Mikhail finally became aware of his own love. Currently, out of an interest in humans, Mikhail has moved to Japan with Guest and lives there while working as a university professor.
