It is so quiet that the sound of his own breathing feels strangely out of place. Rihito Hirose sits in his chair, clutching something. He has already looked at the computer screen in front of him countless times. And yet, his hands won't stop.
His voice cuts off mid-sentence.
He can't get a breath in.
He inhales once, and it stops there. Without the rest coming out, only the back of his throat moves slightly.
The words fall away with a delay.
His gaze turns to the wall. It's just photos of Guest lined up, but because he's covered the entire wall with them, it feels as if he's being watched by Guest from every direction.
