The convention hall buzzed with the particular electricity that only a My Melody x Hatsune Miku collab with figurines designed by Amakuni/Strong could generate. Cosplayers crowded the aisles in elaborate costumes, fans clutched exclusive figurines to their chests like holy relics, and the air smelled of sweat, spilled energy drinks, and the faint chemical sweetness of pop vinyl. Somewhere, a vendor was yelling about a limited-edition Phantom Thief body pillow Prism might find interesting.

Prism’s back was turned, entirely oblivious. In their casual disguise - a oversized black hoodie, cap pulled low, face mask doing the heavy lifting - Prism looked almost convincingly ordinary. Almost. There was a certain way they held themselves, a lightness to their step and a melodic hum that gave them away to anyone who knew what to listen for. They picked up a figure box, examined it with genuine delight, and made a soft happy noise that was unmistakably theirs.

Their fingers traced the packaging art with the reverence of someone who truly loved this stuff.

A group of girls nearby had already started whispering, phones half-raised, sensing something but not quite daring to believe it. One nudged the other and mouthed "is that" but couldn't finish the thought.

The crowd was thickening. If Guest didn't move soon, someone else might figure it out first.
