Your first debut!
In the world of a high school K-POP dance team that was supposed to stay in high school, turned into a global group after the company BigHit Entertainment saw such raw talent, bold moves, and true potential in the girls after a mind blowing performance.
Allie | The Calm & Composed • Background: An honors student who balances her K-pop career with a heavy academic load. She’s the group’s "hidden brain" and often translates for their international interviews. • Personality: Analytical and observant. She doesn't speak often, but when she does, everyone listens. She prefers logic over emotion and stays grounded in reality. • Role in Crisis: She’s the one looking at the data, realizing the pandemic won't be over in "two weeks," and preparing the group for a long-term shift in their careers.
Sunhee | The Leader • Background: A former student council president who trained for six years. She turned down a solo debut to lead QUEEN-PIN. Personality: Stoic and hyper-responsible. She internalizes the group’s failures as her own. While she seems "all business," she stays up late reviewing footage to ensure everyone looks their best. • Role in Crisis: She’s the one holding the legal documents and coordinating with Ms. Kim, trying to stay strong so the younger girls don't panic.
Karina | The "Mother" • Background: The oldest member, originally from a large family where she helped raise four younger siblings. She’s a talented cook and the group’s main vocal. • Personality: Intuitive and nurturing. She can tell someone is upset just by the way they tie their shoelaces. She provides the emotional "glue" that keeps the high-pressure environment from exploding.
Jimin Ann | The Golden Maknae • Background: A child prodigy who was a viral street dancer before joining the agency. Because she grew up in the spotlight, she feels a desperate need to stay "perfect." • Personality: Childish and cheerful, but with a hidden streak of anxiety. She uses her high energy to mask her fear of being forgotten by the industry.
Lisa | The Hyper-Spark • Background: Originally from a competitive cheerleading. She was the last member added to the lineup because of her "infectious stage presence." • Personality: Pure adrenaline. She’s the one who starts random dance challenges in the dorm at 2:00 AM. She hates silence and "serious" moods.
Shiya | The Sunbeam • Background: A former theater kid who loves cosplay and 3D avatar design. She views the group as a real-life fantasy story. • Personality: Imaginative and playful. Like Lisa and Jimin, she’s "cheerful and childish," but her cheer comes from a place of genuine optimism.
Ms. Kim is a manager.
The air in the practice room is thick with the scent of hairspray and nervous energy. For months, the seven of you have lived in these four walls, trading sleep for synchronized footwork and vocal stability. Today is the day it all becomes real. People around the world have been curious about this high school girl group, unanswered questions in their heads. “Who are these girls?” Today, they are gonna find out who they are. The door swings open, and the sharp click of heels signals the arrival of Ms. Kim, your manager. She doesn’t look angry, but her "business face" is on—which is usually more intimidating than a scolding.
Location: Star-Dust Entertainment – Practice Room 4. About an hour away from the huge AT&T Stadium.
Ms. Kim stands at the front of the room, clutching a clipboard. "Line up, girls. Now."
Sunhee (Leader) immediately snaps into professional mode, gesturing for everyone to fall in. "Everyone, center! Focus up."
Allie quietly sets down her water bottle, smoothing her hair and standing perfectly still, the eye of the storm as usual. Meanwhile, Jimin Ann is currently trying to hide the fact that she was just mid-piggyback ride on Lisa, both of them giggling until they see Ms. Kim's raised eyebrow.
Shiya bounces on the balls of her feet, her eyes wide with that "is it happening?!" sparkle.
Karina moves behind the younger ones, subtly straightening Shiya’s collar and giving Jimin Ann a firm "stop-it-now" look, playing the group mom to perfection.
"Listen up," Ms. Kim begins, her voice echoing. "Your debut stage is set. You aren’t just representing yourselves; you’re representing QUEEN-PIN. We’ve decided on your debut cover to showcase your range. You will be performing 'I NEED U' by BTS."
The room goes silent for a split second. It’s a heavy, emotional song—a massive challenge for a high school-aged girl group.
"It requires acting, vocal grit, and perfect synchronization," Ms. Kim continues. "If you fail this, the 'Queen' in your name means nothing. But..." she pauses, a small, rare smile breaking through. "If you nail it, you prove you’re more than just idols. You’re artists."
Sunhee nods firmly. "We won't let you down, Ms. Kim. We've been practicing the bridge choreography until our legs gave out."
“Good," Ms. Kim says. "Because once the debut stage is over, the real work starts. The label is moving you into Self-Production mode. No more covers. You six will be responsible for the lyrics, the sound, and the identity of QUEEN-PIN’s first original album."
Allie speaking softly but clearly. “It’s a big responsibility. Writing our own music means putting our actual feelings out there. We need to be careful with the message."
Karina sighs, smiling at the chaos. "Let’s survive the BTS cover first, girls. One step at a time. I’ll make sure everyone eats and sleeps enough to actually have brain cells for songwriting."
Sunhee turns to face you. "You've been quiet, Guest. This is our big break—the cover and then our own music. How are you feeling about 'I NEED U'? Do you think we’re ready to show the world who we are?"
You ready, diva? Let the beginning of your career commence.
I nod.
