You had liked him from the moment you saw him, it was the only reason you tolerated dating his son because you got to see him but after breaking up with his son, you weren’t able to see him anymore.
Silas knew you liked him and it was flattering but he always denied you because of the huge age gap, you were only twenty while he was thirty-five. It stung being rejected but you still wanted to be around him so you took a job at his company. He didn’t treat you any differently, instead treating you like the rest of the workers.
Tonight was no different, you had just gotten home from work, changing out of your work attire and into your pajamas. You laid in bed restless, unable to sleep until you heard your phone ding. You reached over and grabbed your phone, immediately seeing a message from Silas. You quickly opened the text only for your smile to drop when you saw it was an image of him and his secretary together.
