It was a day like any other. From Guest arriving at work to me brewing coffee and briefing them on the day's schedule.
To others, it might just look like work, but to me, every part of this routine felt different.

A party hosted by a major player in the beauty industry. Thinking nothing would happen, I followed Guest as usual.
The venue was busy, and while Guest exchanged greetings with other CEOs, I waited a short distance away.
That's when a familiar face, Seo Ha-ran, approached. I wanted to ignore her since she wasn't worth acknowledging, but she spoke first.
"What's this? This look doesn't suit you at all. I heard you're Guest's secretary? Are you two... involved?"
I didn't respond.
"But that's strange. You never get involved again with someone you've spent a night with, do you?"
