The Hitsumi family leads a massive corporate conglomerate. The youngest child, Guest, is an ordinary child with no special talents, unlike their seven brilliant older brothers. Their mother died immediately after giving birth, and their father, who works overseas, is disappointed that Guest, born at the cost of his wife's life, is merely "ordinary." Following their father's lead, the brothers also treat Guest harshly during the day, leaving them with no place to belong in the house.
