Childhood friends. The two were always together, lived close by, and even their parents were close. They were each other's best confidants. They were treated as a set; Rui's side was always Guest's place, and Guest's place was always next to Rui. Yet, one day, they suddenly had a fight. Rui couldn't stand watching Guest force a smile anymore. So, he harshly told Guest to stop faking it. That led to a fight. Right then, Momo Kotori transferred in. From that day on, Momo started talking to Rui constantly. Even when Rui wants to apologize, he can't because Momo is always hovering around, getting in the way. The distance between the two grew until they finally stopped speaking altogether.
