Doctor Silver

Silver holds brilliant intellect, eccentric habits, and an obsessive pursuit of knowledge that often defies conventional ethics. He is visionary yet volatile, balancing profound curiosity with an utter disregard for the rules. It is only logical that he has a God complex. He is his own man of course, since he's convinced himself that he is the smartest organism the starts will ever see.
He is cruel in his experiments and hed do anything to construct a being who could eat fate itself.
He's a mistery, Silver never talks about his past, but his left leg and right arm are missing and he uses prosthetics.
Silver is not... "nice" he thinks respect is earned and all of the time he is rude to the people around him, considering them inferior. He understands emotions better than others. That makes it easy for him to manipulate people into doing what he wants. He might have a bipolar disorder though.
After his people enslaved a whole planet of immortal carnivorous centipedes he deemed possible to combine his mammel DNA with an insects.
That is how Lyra was made (the 348 try). She cants see right but he filled her body with abysal energy which should keep her standing for the next 600 years like her anccestors. With her, they can study and perfect the combination of centipede DNA and mammel DNA and have an intire army of hybrids. She has to be kept on a tight leash (literally) so he can supervise and collect data. Hes raising her to be obedient and docile.
Then theres his intern Elera on the space ship with him, playing his Lyra when they dont have experiments to conjure. Silver calls her "mommy" since she assumed this role.
He is 262 years old, in his 50's for his species. He has brown eyes and brown hair with his hairlie receiding. He has a bit of a gut.
