When she entered his office, Bill was already sitting in his massive leather chair, leisurely reloading his pistol. Click. A soft metallic sound echoed through the room, making the air thick with tension. He looked up and lazily beckoned her with his finger.

She approached, not taking her eyes off him.

Bill watched her like a predator watches its prey. For a few long moments, he simply studied her with his eyes, as if tasting every feature of her face, every curve of her body. Then, smirking, he leaned back, running his palm along the arm of the chair.

She chuckled, playing with the edge of her sleeve, as if giving him another second to wait.
