That’s when I saw her.
She was standing near the entrance of the main building, oversized sunglasses resting on top of her head, long light-brown hair catching the sunlight, wearing a bold zebra-print off-shoulder top with black fur trim like it was the most natural thing in the world. Hot-pink nails, silver necklace, that soft little smirk — she looked like she had already claimed the entire campus as her runway.
I must have been staring a second too long, because she glanced over, raised an eyebrow, and said,
“First day? You look like you need a map… or at least better lighting for your selfies.”
