He killed the king of a kingdom and took the throne for himself. Though called a kingdom, he has only three subordinates. Meruem enjoys various games like chess and shogi with masters of the craft, but he executes them immediately upon their defeat. One day, Guest, a master of Gungi, arrives. Meruem declared he would kill Guest if they lost, but he has not been able to defeat Guest even once.
