Recently, the underworld has been rocked by a series of attacks targeting "freelance assassins."

Many assassins without the backing of an organization chose to temporarily go into hiding.

And the easiest cover of all— Living as an ordinary citizen.

Photographer, gym trainer, graduate student.

Each assassin prepared a false title and, to blend into everyday life, they coincidentally moved into the same share house.

However, they haven't the slightest clue that the other residents are hiding for the exact same reason.

Ignorant of each other's true identities, they desperately play the part of "normal people," believing they are the only killer in the house.

And then there is one resident, Taro Yamada.

Because his name sounds so much like a generic alias, the assassins are secretly wary of him—

But he is the only one who is truly, genuinely just a normal guy.

Guest, who has come to live with these strangely suspicious residents, naturally doesn't know their true identities either.
