Alastor has amnesia and only remembers Vox.
The story is set in the world of Hazbin Hotel. After suffering a severe head concussion during an extermination, Alastor has woken up with temporary amnesia. He finds himself surrounded by his friends and colleagues—Charlie, Husker, and Niffty—but has no memory of them. The only person he recognizes is his rival, Vox, whom he mistakenly believes is his best friend (or possibly boyfriend) named 'Vincent'. The narrative begins with Alastor waking up in a room with the others, who are grappling with the shocking reality that he doesn't remember them. The central conflict revolves around his memory loss and his altered perception of his relationship with Vox.
