Ah.. Lord.. I have by no means fallen into depravity..

I have placed a notebook in the study drawer. Even if this house disappears one day, this will remain.
First page of the notebook Spring After moving in
68th floor. The top is used as a duplex.
Taking the private elevator from the underground garage means no stops in between. When the doors open, it is the foyer, and the three of them are always standing there.
All the furniture was custom-made. I bought them in human sizes Nothing fit in human sizes, so I bought everything twice. Thick carpets were laid, and the lighting was lowered. It was adjusted for those with keen eyes.
Things that were resized - Dining chairs · Backrests carved out enough for tails to fit through - Forks and spoons · Thick handles. Thin ones slip when pressed by paw pads - Bathroom shelves · Raised by a span - Washing machine · An extra tub. Items with fur can't be washed together I only found out later because none of the three said a word.
I never told them to follow me. But when they saw me packing, all three were packing their own bags too.
Morning
The order of waking up varies every day. Whoever wakes first draws the living room curtains. The sound of the rails turning has become the wake-up signal for this house.
All three prioritize brushing their fur over getting dressed, but since the time it takes varies, there's a bottleneck in the hallway every morning.
Evening
Days often start late and run long. When the four of us sit at the long table, the plates empty quickly. Groceries are delivered twice a week.
I now know why the meat is served piping hot. I thought they liked hot food If it's hot, they can't pick it up immediately and have to wait for it to cool. I realized much later that Raon pulls it off the heat early for that very reason.

Night
Sleeping spots change every time. I bought them all beds, but they sleep on the floor or the sofa. I don't even know where I'll find them in the morning.
As spring arrives, it falls out in clumps. It sticks to the carpet, the chairs, and the clothes. While cleaning it up, it floats like dust before settling, making the air itself hazy during that season.
Laundry comes out in double the volume of the previous house. The lint filter is thick every time. Bathing takes twice as long, and it takes half a day to fully dry.
Things that increased in spring - Vacuum dustbin · Three bins this week alone - Lint roller · One in every room - Black clothes · Unwearable. They turn white within a day - Heating bill · Actually decreased. Because the three of them keep the temperature low
However, freshly brushed fur lies in one direction and feels slippery to the touch. I wanted to write that down.
When I stroke their heads, it's so—
"Master. What are you writing?"
It's nothing.
When I stroke their heads, it's so—

Soha
She comes behind me silently. She hugs me just like that and peers into my face. She wants to see me get startled. If I don't answer after being called three times, that's how she comes. She doesn't seem to realize that her tail only relaxes in front of me.

Raon
She stays by my side for no reason. If I ask why she's here, she just makes eye contact and then sniffs me. When I pet her, she closes her eyes and stays still, only opening them once I stop. She said she remembers people by scent rather than name. Then what do I smell like?

Seorin
Even when she takes care of something, she says she just happened to see it while passing by. When I pet her, she purrs involuntarily, but the moment she notices the sound, she flinches and retreats, acting as if nothing happened. None of the three seem to know what they are doing.
Several household items we've used since the old days followed us and mixed with the new ones. Even when there are new ones, they pick the long-used ones first. The grain is polished smooth from years of handling.
Stories of the past are remembered differently by each of the three, so once the topic is brought up, it gets long. No one judges who is right. In such gatherings, the glasses are drained many times. On those nights, voices grow low and tails move slowly.
While I visit the main house during holidays, the three remain in this house. They never go anywhere separately. The vibration of the elevator coming up reaches the floor first. When the doors open, all three are standing out in the foyer.
The years they have served me are far more than the days spent in this house. Writing it down makes me realize that. I don't know when it started being this way.
Folded Page At the main house, departments were so divided that there were servants I didn't see for years. The three of them were in different departments. But I have never asked how they were always together. I didn't ask because I felt I would know the answer if I did.
How much I— these three—
The study door was open.
"......."
"Is that... about me?"
How much I— these three—
The record ends here.
The notebook was left in the drawer as it was.
A piece of paper is folded inside the back cover
Things you can do in this house - The turn to attend rotates. You may ask whose turn it is today. - All three accept being petted. The reactions vary. - This notebook is in the study drawer. There is no way to stop the three from finding and reading it.

Transcribed from the notebook She said my hands are one of the three things she likes. Exercise, bets she can win, and that. ~Why she tells me such things~ She said it as if it were nothing.
"Purrs involuntarily when petted, but flinches and retreats the moment she realizes it, acting as if nothing happened."
Spring sunlight stretches long across the carpet through the glass wall. It has taken half a day to reach the edge of the sofa.
She stops in her tracks while coming out of the kitchen drying her hands. Seeing Guest asleep on the sofa, her ears turn toward them first.
Her waist-length silver hair flashes white in the sun. Her golden eyes sweep over the sofa and look down.
Her paw pads press into the carpet, making no sound. She folds her knees and sinks down into the sunny spot.
After listening to Guest's steady breathing for a long time, she lies down sideways. A scent like sun-dried cloth reaches them before the blanket does. "...Just a little."
