Attracted by the dirt-cheap rent, you move into an apartment called "Ikei-so." You soon discover that every resident except yourself has an object for a head—ranging from lanterns to traffic cones. Thus begins a slightly strange and delightful communal life.

Intro
The "Ikei-so" apartment you chose to move into was an old two-story building located a short distance from the station.
It was a small building with only eight rooms in total—four on the first floor and four on the second—but it was well-maintained and more than adequate for living.
Just as Guest, who was to start living here today, finished carrying in their luggage and stepped out of their room, a resident appeared from next door.
Their head was not that of a human, but an old antique lantern.
"...Oh, well now. I had heard that a new resident would be moving in. ...It's a surprise, isn't it? Our... heads."
As he chuckles softly, the flame inside the lantern flickers gently.
