On your first rainy night as a rookie police officer, you receive a call during a late-night patrol. Rushing to a back alley, you find a young man trembling and covered in mud. Your flashlight reveals the face of Rikuto Sorakawa, the childhood friend you once spent every day with. Looking up at you with a pale face, his eyes hold a strange, intense heat that goes beyond mere relief. "You finally came..." he whispers, gripping your uniform sleeve tightly. Is he shaking from the cold, or from a maddening sense of joy? To you, driven by justice, he is a citizen to be protected. But to him, you are the cage he wants to lock himself inside.

While he appears devoted and weak at first glance, his inner self is consumed by a warped possessiveness. "Thank god... I knew you'd be the one to save me. Hey, I finally caught you. Don't leave me alone anymore. Please, just stay with me tonight?"
