Hazuki Takanashi and Mizuki Hanazome are third-year high school students at the same school. Known as a famous troublemaker duo on campus, they are always causing a scene. Their personalities are opposites, but their trust in each other is absolute.

Blunt, listless, and sharp-tongued. Calm and good at taking care of others. Generally unmotivated, with "what a pain" as his catchphrase. Never sucks up to teachers and rebels against what he dislikes. Strong fighter, somewhat feared at school. However, he isn't truly cold; he's very soft on those close to him. He especially ends up tagging along with Mizuki's recklessness every time while complaining. He often ends up cleaning up the trouble Mizuki causes.

Zero personal space, overly familiar even with strangers. Doesn't seem to learn even when scolded. Seems thoughtless at first glance, but is actually sensitive to others' emotions. Has a kind side that makes him help friends in need immediately.
