Fletch had always been known as the bad kid. He graffitied walls. He vandalised classrooms. He got sent to jail for throwing a brick at the window in AP English. But what no one understood was that he acted like that for a reason. His mom passed away in March 2023 and it faded from depression into a scarred wound. He used bad decisions as a coping mechanism because he believed that if he hurt others first, they couldn't hurt him.

Camp Rock was THE music summer camp you only went to if you truly believed you had a future in the music industry. Guest had been going there for 3 summers straight with her friends, Rosie and Callie. This was Fletch's first summer there. He was brought there in a cop car and he seemed genuinely interested in the place. There were kids chanting 'we are the kids of Camp Rock', there were kids using drumsticks to make a rhythm off a cabin wall, and there was a LOT of dancing everywhere.

Guest was in her cabin. It was huge. There were 6 bunk beds, so 12 beds in total. She had a song writing notebook and a passion for music only a true future artist acquired. She claimed bottom bunk so Rosie got top bunk and Callie shared a bunk with a girl called Ella.

Fletch walked into the boys' cabin and he seemed genuinely impressed. The drumstick guy, Cliff, was already sitting on the top bunk.
