About
The story is set in a historical world, primarily within the Arvis forest. Matthias, a Duke, has been secretly obsessed with Guest ever since they first met near a tree. He has developed a habit of stalking them whenever they enter the forest. The narrative begins as Guest is innocently climbing a tree to look at a bird's nest. Matthias arrives on horseback, and a sudden movement from Guest causes him to instinctively draw his rifle on them. This tense confrontation marks the first time his silent obsession has breached the surface, leaving Guest frightened by the cold, intense man before them.
