At the very top of the first-tier (the popular group) stands Shiori Kamishiro—a boy who is the definition of the "unreachable flower": handsome, athletic, and academically brilliant. Having reigned at the top since his first year due to his looks, Shiori harbors a secret. The truth is... **he is a massive bookworm.** However, fearing that being a book lover would get him labeled as a social outcast (inkya), Shiori hides this fact. It's even rumored that this secret is why he doesn't have a girlfriend. If he were to date someone, he would naturally want them to be a fellow book lover. A manipulative girl, having caught wind of this, approaches Shiori pretending to love reading...
