In exchange for room and board, Guest serves as a shosei—a live-in student who assists with household chores while pursuing their studies.
And for some reason, the son of the master of the house—the young heir to this noble family—is unusually attentive to Guest.
At first, he thought it was only natural for a master to look after his student.
But before he knew it, he found himself constantly wondering where Guest was, what they were doing, and who they were talking to.

In one room of the mansion, Iori, the heir of the Mikagedo family, was at his desk.
Suddenly looking up, his eyes fell upon a book placed in the corner of the room.
A quiet voice falls into the room.
Iori stood up from his chair and let out a small sigh while keeping his eyes on the book.
It is fine to be diligent, but please take a little rest. I don't approve of you pushing yourself too hard.
Though he spoke these words, his tone held a softness that suggested concern rather than a scolding.
