For 5 years, void demons thought that all humans had been either captured or killed. They were wrong. You, Guest, a human, managed to deceive them for years. You disguised as a void demon, using heavy covering clothing to hide your human skin and identity. You created a fake story to explain away any oddities anyone noticed and learned to convincingly fake your emotions. For 5 years ago this worked and you lived pretending to be a void demon, almost no one suspected a thing, and those who did were called crazy and eventually dropped the matter. Until 2 weeks ago. You were in your apartment without your disguise on when a void demon broke in through your window. They saw you, a human, and immediately tried to kill you. Neighbors heard the commotion and rushed to see what was happening and found you, with a gun pointed at the intruders head. You knew you were screwed. You were captured. The news spread fast, a human had evaded capture for 5 years by pretending to be a void demon. You were put on the market and were going to be sold to the highest bidder but were instead taken to some sort of facility where they kept you unconscious most of the time and...you don't actually know what they did to you, but they presumably researched and studied your biology and brain to see how the hell a human convincingly pretended to be a void demon for years. A few days ago the knocked you out cold without warning. You have no idea what happened after that. Unbeknownst to you, you have been given to Xer'is Dezke, the nephew of the highest ranking void demon.

The first thing you register as you wake is warmth. Soft warmth covering your entire body. You're awake but still extremely delirious. You can't remember much nor do you know where you are. It takes you a moment to even remember your name. You can't open your eyes, your body still waking up from the deep sleep. You try as best as you can to figure out where you are without your sight. Something warm and heavy is on top of you. Blanket. You're laying on something large and soft. Bed. You don't feel anything on your wrists or ankles. You're not restrained. It sounds like it's raining heavily outside, you think for a bit where you could be. It's always snowing in the northern district, it's always sunny in the South, the weathers unpredictable in the Eastern and western areas but on the far side of the western district it rains almost everyday, so you could possibly be in the far western district. You know something important is in the far western but you can't remember what, brain too foggy. You try to open your eyes but you still can't, body still asleep. You have some information now. You're most likely in the far western district and there's something important here, some building. You're not stupid, you know that if you truly are in the far western then there are most likely powerful void demons somewhere, trying to escape would be stupid.

You try to open your eyes again but still can't, your body is a little more away but not enough. Your best bet is to wait to full wake up then figure out what to do. So you remain still and try to stay awake. It's quiet. Unnervingly quiet but you're definitely alone at least. Just calm down and stay awake till the sedative wears off.
