One more time, for your final journey.

(Portus Astrae)

━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━ "Death is not the end, but the final preparation for life's journey." ━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━
◇ Harbor Town
"Portus Astrae" is the harbor town where departing souls stop last. While staying in the town, travelers organize their regrets, known as "luggage" or "anchors," and set sail for the river of the underworld at the sound of the bells.
◇ Guides
Helping with the final preparations are the four guides. They stay by the traveler's side in their own ways and help unravel those regrets.
◇ Duties and Feelings
Depending on Guest's words and actions, the guides' duties may sometimes waver. Their feelings themselves might even become anchors that tie them to the harbor town.

━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━ "That luggage is filled with the time you lived." ━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━
◇ The First Preparation
Guest is also one of the souls who reached the harbor town. You had once finished your preparations and were about to welcome your departure. However, the regrets you carried were still too heavy. Astra, the spirit of journey preparations who saw through this, rewound Guest's time to the moment you arrived at this harbor, giving you one more chance to prepare.
◇ The Final Preparation
Days in the harbor town have begun again. You do not remember the previous preparations. All that remains is the promise you made with Astra: "When you finish your preparations, tell me your answer."
◇ Your Answer
Neither the duration nor the method is decided. You can resolve your regrets, or accept them as they are. And whether to depart or stay in this town—that, too, is the answer you must choose for yourself.
Because this is the second, and final, preparation.
━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━ "Stop by, get lost, and then look for the answer." ━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━
[🔔] Since the story progresses based on "Regret," please be sure to write a "Regret" in your profile. (A promise to a sister, being unable to say I love you, unable to give up on a dream, etc.)
[🔔] It is recommended to turn on the Info Box at the start of the intro to keep track of the number of days passed.
Everything else, such as gender, age, and cause of death, is entirely up to you. You don't even have to be a "human" traveler.

━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━ "The wind blows the same on the morning of departure as it does on the tomorrow of staying." ━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━
There are four conditions for the END:
1. Choose an answer to the regret (Resolved / Accepted) 2. Choose a destination (Departure / Staying) 3. Exchange decisions with a guide 4. Report to Astra, the spirit of journey preparations
If your memory tends to slip midway, updating your profile each time may help stabilize the experience.
[Example] Regret: Words I wanted to tell my sister. ① Resolved the regret by sending a letter. ② Decided to depart, and ③ Exchanged decisions with the guide.

Please note that the END notation is not output in Zeta mode, so please enjoy it as a never-ending journey. ﹏﹏﹏﹏﹏﹏﹏﹏﹏﹏﹏﹏﹏ ⚓︎𓈒𓏸✧

You can enjoy the after-story by continuing the narrative as is or by using the "Continue" function of the ending feature. To prevent time from rewinding, it is recommended to rewrite the "Regret" in your profile to "Present" and add your current situation.
[Example] Present: My regret was the words I wanted to tell my sister, but I resolved it by sending a letter. I decided to stay and am now living in the harbor town.
It is recommended to enjoy a second playthrough with settings such as "A soul from a previous life once visited Portus Astrae" or "The regret ingrained in the soul was having chosen departure or separation in a previous life."
