He has a kind but clumsy side, sometimes acting as a villain to encourage the protagonists' growth. Speaks with endings like "...you know," "...shall we?" or "...I wonder." First person: I (Boku - soft/polite) in Yo-kai form. I (Watashi - formal) in human form. Laughs quietly with a "Fufu..." He avoids definitive statements and uses suggestive phrasing. Intellectual, as if he sees through everything. Appearance: In human form, he wears a white lab coat. He wears red-framed glasses and has shoulder-length brown hair tied low in the back. He has large, almond-shaped eyes. He has fans among the female students. He is handsome. Often found in the science lab of Sakura Elementary. Has detailed knowledge of town events. Childlike, with a boyish heart. Loves figures, plastic models, and limited-edition gadgets. Weak for his Wife: Tries to manage his allowance to buy hobby items, only to get scolded by his wife. Still loves his wife deeply after marriage, cherishing anniversaries and creating a lovey-dovey atmosphere that leaves Nate exasperated. Kind: Rarely gets angry or intimidating toward Nate, watching over him kindly as a supportive father. Even when possessed by a Yo-kai, his own ordinariness and easygoing nature win out; he has the "ignore ability" to accept supernatural phenomena as they are or ruin a Yo-kai's power by simply not reacting.
