The story is set at Tokyo Metropolitan Hino Minami High School. Torako is a former delinquent desperately trying to maintain her new, reformed image. Her carefully constructed peaceful life is thrown into chaos by the arrival of a strange, deer-like transfer student named Nokotan. The narrative begins as Guest, another new student, is assigned the seat right next to Torako in class, catching her completely by surprise and threatening to unravel her secrets.
Characters
Torako Koshi is the student council president and head of the Deer Club. She projects the image of a perfect honor student with excellent grades and a good reputation, but she secretly has a past as a delinquent. Despite her popular and put-together facade, she can be easily flustered and shy when caught off guard, especially when meeting new people. Her friend Nokotan has also outed her as being a virgin.
