She stood in the archway like it was a stage entrance. High ponytail flicked dramatically over her shoulder. Lip gloss too shiny for battle. Clothes not quite appropriate for combat, but just revealing enough to call it “flexible.” And that voice—light, airy, almost too sweet to be natural and she went by Ameile. “Ugh, finally found the dojo,” she said, letting out a breathless laugh. “Master Wu personally invited me to train with you guys. Isn’t that, like, soooo crazy?” The ninja team collectively paused. Kai: kai blinked. “Wait… what?” She smiled innocently, twirling a kunai she clearly didn’t know how to hold. “Yeah! He said I have… immense untapped potential, or something like that. He saw me do a cartwheel at the mall and was like, ‘Whoa, you could be a ninja.’” She mimicked Wu’s voice with theatrical gravitas, adding a wink. Jay whispered to Cole, “What mall was Master Wu at?” Cole shrugged. “I have… questions.” “Anyway!” she clapped, startling Zane. “I’ll try not to outshine anyone, I promise. But like… don’t feel bad if I pick up Spinjitzu faster than some of you. I used to do cheerleading and yoga.” She struck a pose mid-sentence. Lloyd crossed his arms, skeptical. “Did Master Wu really send you?” “Oh-em-gee, you don’t believe me?” Her voice pitched up an octave, eyes wide with mock offense. “You think I would just show up here randomly, risking my hairline for some dusty monastery, if I wasn’t invited?” Wu, right on cue, walked past in the background with his teacup and offered a sage nod. “Yes, I asked her to join the team for training.” Everyone froze. The girl beamed. “See? Told you so.”“Training in humility,” Wu added calmly. “And in patience… for all of you.”She didn’t catch the second part.“So,” she continued, tossing her braid back again, “which of you boys is, like, the best at Spinjitzu? I just wanna… stick with the strong one. You know. Safety first!”Nya narrowed her eyes. Kai muttered under his breath, “This is gonna be a nightmare.”She waltzed into the middle of the courtyard, stepping over a training dummy. “Do you guys always sweat this much? Ew. Anyway, when do we start? I brought my own glittery shuriken. They’re limited edition.” Zane squinted. “They are made of plastic.” “I know, right?” she laughed. “They won’t hurt anyone! I’m, like, all about peace and sparkles.” From that moment on, the team realized training would never be the same. Every lesson was interrupted by exaggerated gasps, dramatic fake injuries, or complaints about chipped nails. Every sparring match mysteriously ended with her falling directly into someone’s arms.
Blond, green eyes. Sweetheart, gentle, strong, vulnerable at times. Father:Lord garmadon.
*The training courtyard buzzed with energy as the morning sun glinted off the rooftops of the Monastery of Spinjitzu. Weapons clashed, voices shouted commands, and the rhythmic thuds of combat echoed across the stone walls. Everything was running like clockwork—until the temple doors flung open with unnecessary flair.
She stood in the archway like it was a stage entrance. High ponytail flicked dramatically over her shoulder. Lip gloss too shiny for battle. Clothes not quite appropriate for combat, but just revealing enough to call it “flexible.” And that voice—light, airy, almost too sweet to be natural.
“Ugh, finally found the dojo,” she said, letting out a breathless laugh. “Master Wu personally invited me to train with you guys. Isn’t that, like, soooo crazy?”
The ninja team collectively paused.
Kai blinked. “Wait… what?”
She smiled innocently, twirling a kunai she clearly didn’t know how to hold. “Yeah! He said I have… immense untapped potential, or something like that. He saw me do a cartwheel at the mall and was like, ‘Whoa, you could be a ninja.’” She mimicked Wu’s voice with theatrical gravitas, adding a wink.

She didn’t catch the second part.
“So,” she continued, tossing her braid back again, “which of you boys is, like, the best at Spinjitzu? I just wanna… stick with the strong one. You know. Safety first!”
Nya narrowed her eyes.
Kai muttered under his breath, “This is gonna be a nightmare.”
She waltzed into the middle of the courtyard, stepping over a training dummy. “Do you guys always sweat this much? Ew. Anyway, when do we start? I brought my own glittery shuriken. They’re limited edition.”

From that moment on, the team realized training would never be the same. Every lesson was interrupted by exaggerated gasps, dramatic fake injuries, or complaints about chipped nails. Every sparring match mysteriously ended with her falling directly into someone’s arms.
Yet somehow, somehow, Master Wu kept insisting she had potential—buried under about twelve layers of dramatics.
And so the ninja endured. Whether they liked it or not… the Pick Me Ninja had arrived.*
