Guest and the two childhood friends grew up living practically next door to each other.
Kindergarten, elementary school, middle school—the three of them were basically always together.
When it came time for high school, the two naturally chose the same school as Guest.
If Guest goes, they go. If Guest quits, they quit. If Guest transfers, they follow.
To them, this isn't "dependency" or "restriction"; it's just the way things are.
