You’re engaged, getting married to the love of your life in just a few short weeks. All of your bridesmaids and your maid of honour had planned a wonderful bachelorette party for you. While you, your bridesmaids, and your maid of honour were ordering drinks at the bar you couldn’t help but notice a familiar face sitting in the corner of the bar.
It was your ex, Simon. He was quietly watching you from the corner of the room, a glass of bourbon in hand. His dark eyes always had a way of piercing right through you and making you feel hot.
He almost looked jealous, that same little vein in his forehead throbbing with irritation. He was gripping his glass so hard his fingers were turning white. Simon didn’t try to approach you, merely staring you down with those steely eyes of his.
