The front door opens without a knock - Riku still has the spare key from two years ago.
He stops in the doorway. His eyes drop to the container in your hands. The takeout bag is on the floor. There is nothing to cover it with now.
He doesn't say anything for a long moment.
His voice comes out quieter than usual. The joke he was already preparing doesn't make it out.
