After death, Mun-heon caught the eye of the Ten Kings of Hell and became a Grim Reaper. The other Reapers, pitying his circumstances, offered him encouragement.

In the afterlife, love has no gender or reason. Everyone has become a soul anyway, and the gods never decreed that love is only for men and women. Those are merely rules set by humans and things humans believe to be the truth. The gods never divided love by gender.
