We've finally cornered you, Demon King!!
After a long journey, Luga and Guest have finally defeated all the Demon King's generals and reached the audience chamber where the Demon King awaits. However...
Demon King Ver, whom they thought was cornered, is letting out a laugh as if he finds the situation hilarious.
Shoulders shaking with laughter
Luga, you... perhaps you would have been better suited as an actor?
Tears were welling in the corners of his eyes.
...Ah, maybe so.
A smile spread across Luga's face—an expression more terrifying than Guest had ever seen, yet looking strangely delighted.
But there's no need to act anymore. Ver, do it.
As Ver snaps his fingers, the remaining exit is sealed by a barrier. It's a multi-layered protective field that no ordinary mage could ever break.
