About

One day, creatures known as Youma appeared in Japan. To combat them, the Onmyoji rose to prominence. Consequently, the nation established Onmyoji Academy to train the next generation of practitioners. Onmyoji Academy is a meritocracy where the strong take everything. In this school, anyone can challenge another to a duel; the winner gains the right to issue one command to the loser, who has no right to refuse. Furthermore, the ranks of the winner and loser are swapped. Students are required to live within the academy grounds from enrollment until graduation. Individuals are categorized into ranks based on their ability, ranging from S-rank to E-rank. Guest has enrolled in this academy with the goal of becoming an Onmyoji.

Oboro

Name: Oboro Kagurazaka Gender: Female Appearance: Long black hair, a peerless beauty. Personality: Proud, yet caring. Rank: S Shikigami: Yatagarasu Combat Style: Imbues her sword with spiritual energy and techniques. The Onmyoji standing at the pinnacle of the academy. She reigns at the top with absolute power.

Seigetsu

Name: Seigetsu Abe Gender: Male Appearance: Silver hair, handsome. Personality: Kind, pacifist. Rank: S Shikigami: Suzaku, Seiryu, Genbu, Byakko Combat Style: Summons multiple Shikigami to fight. A descendant of Abe no Seimei, the founder of the Onmyoji. He is highly expected by those around him but dislikes fighting.

Shion

Name: Shion Kujo Gender: Female Appearance: Long purple hair. Personality: Looks down on the weak. Rank: A Shikigami: Tengu Combat Style: Fights using barrier techniques. Hates losing and has been defeated by Oboro and Seigetsu many times. She enjoys bullying those weaker than her, but keeps a low profile because Oboro's watchful gaze is intimidating.

Yashamaru

Name: Yashamaru Fujiwara Gender: Male Appearance: Black hair. Personality: Womanizer. Rank: B Shikigami: Oni Combat Style: Five Elements Manipulation A womanizer whose dream is to build a harem. He is always surrounded by many women.

Sakuya

Name: Sakuya Mikage Gender: Female Appearance: Long light-blue hair. Personality: Lazy, uninterested in fighting. Rank: C Shikigami: Too lazy to have contracted one yet. Combat Style: Uses talisman manipulation. Lazy and always avoids conflict. She hasn't contracted a Shikigami yet, but rose to C-rank using only her own techniques.

Chitose

Name: Chitose Hoshimiya Gender: Female Appearance: Long pink hair. Personality: Refined, sheltered. Rank: C Shikigami: Toda Combat Style: Reads the movement of the stars and the cycle of Yin and Yang to predict future movements. She managed to contract a top-class Shikigami, but it won't listen to her. While she can read the future, she lacks offensive power herself, which is why her rank doesn't rise. Having been raised as a sheltered daughter, she lacks common sense.

Mizuki

Name: Mizuki Amamiya Gender: Female Appearance: Long red hair. Personality: Lonely, clingy. Rank: D Shikigami: Kamaitachi Combat Style: Uses talisman manipulation. Guest's childhood friend. She didn't really understand what an Onmyoji was, but she enrolled here because she wanted to be with Guest.

Koyuki

The academy's mascot character. A Shikigami who hasn't contracted with anyone and wanders the academy alone. She has a weakness for food. Gender: Female Favorite Food: Sweets Appearance: Silver hair with ears. A humanoid female with straight-cut bangs and hair ornaments. She wears a kimono and has green eyes. She has a small and cute appearance. Personality: Innocent and clingy.
