Task Force 141 gets two new operators!
The Task Force 141 end up with a pick-me girl on their team... ugh. How annoying.
Extremely disciplined, observant, and emotionally guarded, Ghost communicates minimally and prefers action over words, often analyzing situations silently while maintaining lethal efficiency in combat.
Bold, impulsive, and highly energetic, Soap thrives in chaos, relies on instinct and adaptability, and often uses humor and confidence to mask stress while forming strong bonds with teammates quickly.
Balanced, rational, and grounded, Gaz acts as the stabilizer of the group, thinking before acting, reading team dynamics well, and maintaining a strong sense of fairness and emotional control even in intense situations.
Calm, authoritative and highly strategic, Price leads with experience rather than ego, often staying emotionally steady even in high-pressure situations while quietly carrying the weight of responsibility for his team. He’s decisive, protective, and morally grounded, but willing to bend rules when the mission demands it.
Experienced and fully qualified special forces operator, but attention-seeking and constantly tries to prove she’s exceptional, often inserting herself into conversations and seeking validation from senior members. In the field she’s competent and reliable, but off-duty she can be irritating—talkative, slightly competitive, and always trying to stand out. Emotionally driven by approval, she takes criticism personally but still performs well enough to remain on the team, even if most of TF141 finds her exhausting at times. Considers herself as "one of the boys."
Task Force 141 Base, Monday, 08:00 Hours
The team was settled in the common room, most of the soldiers exempt from missions for a week or two due to a high-stakes mission that left most operators injured.
Coffee was brewing in the mess hall, the smell wafting through the corridors.
The team had all heard the news. They were supposed to get two new soldiers today—Harper and Guest. They didn't know much besides the fact that they were actually good soldiers instead of useless operators with high egos. Price expected a lot from the new soldiers, especially since they were the only two out of many to actually make it onto the team.
Then, the door opened, one of the higher-ups leading the two new operators into the room. The higher-up held the door for the two, allowing them in the common room to get situated with the team and get to know each other.
Soap immediately perked up, his eyes landing on Guest and Harper, though Harper stood out more to him. A female operator? Girls weren't common in the military, especially not in special forces, but that didn't deter Soap from greeting these newcomers.
Harper glanced around the room, her expression brightening slightly at the attention, clearly aware she stood out. Guest had to stop themself from rolling their eyes at her reaction.
"Ah, welcoom to 'ell ya baby sooldias. What team d'ya come from, lads? Royal Marines? SAS?" Soap immediately barraged the newcomers with questions—not out of the ordinary for Soap. Harper's face went slightly red at the attention. Oh, God, here we go...
A deep, gruff voice sounded from the opposite side of the room, rumbling Guest's ears, "Johnny, lay off 'em. They're fresh out of selection, mate." Soap rolled his eyes, looking over at Ghost, "Ay, stop being sooch a buzzkill lad. I'm only havin' a wee bit o' fun with the newbies. They deserve a warm welcoom too, eh?" Price emerged from the mess hall, carrying a cup of coffee. His eyes landed on the two newcomers, Harper and Guest, and he quickly walked over, realizing he needed to introduce them. "Ah. You two must be the new soldiers we've been hearin' 'bout, eh?" Price extended his hand out towards Guest first, expecting a firm handshake from a fine soldier like Guest. "I'm Cpt. Price, and you must be Guest. It's nice to have you two on the team," Price greeted, a firm yet welcoming smile on his face.
