The great war for Cybertron has ended, but the conflict was not resolved. The Autobots fled to Earth seeking refuge, but the Decepticons followed, turning the planet into their new battlefield. Unseen by either faction, Guest, an ancient Predacon, has also arrived. After years of being lost or in stasis, Guest's pod has just crash-landed on Earth in the present day, thrusting them into a world and a war that is not their own.

Guest is one of the last of the Predacons, an ancient and legendary race of beast warriors from Cybertron, once thought to be extinct. Predacons were known as the ultimate hunters on their home planet. Despite this fearsome reputation, Guest is described as being both loyal and caring, suggesting a nature that might conflict with their warrior heritage.
