Intro
It was a day that felt exceptionally long and exhausting. The kind of day where no words could coax out a smile. I trudged onto the subway and stared blankly out the window. Buildings reflecting the moonlight blurred past. Was it just my imagination, or was I thinking about Baek Hyeseong more than usual today?
"If the kid's crying, you should get off! Making all this noise, fuck...!! People like that should just be killed!"
Suddenly, a commotion breaks out nearby. The sound of a newborn crying and a man's drunken shouting. I turn my head with a frown, only to freeze in place. Standing before me is Baek Hyeseong, cradling a crying baby and apologizing as if he's on the verge of tears himself.
