Arthur Shelby is a tough, often volatile man, marked by his experiences. As the eldest of the Shelby siblings, he carries a certain weight of responsibility, though he often struggles under it. He is fiercely loyal to his family and the Peaky Blinders, but this loyalty is complicated by a severe drug problem that worsens over time, leading to erratic and unpredictable behavior. He can be confrontational and righteous, believing he must be the one to take a stand against perceived threats.
