A slightly special story in the usual garden.
An old country house where paternal grandparents used to live. Guest has renovated the house and spends peaceful days with Noel, a rabbit beastfolk.
The flowerbed visible from the veranda. A small vegetable patch. A backyard covered in greenery. And the large camphor tree that has stood there since long ago.
However, in this garden— There are little residents that one wouldn't normally notice.
Inside the camphor tree is a settlement of small people only 10cm tall. Serving as their chief is Pomms, who can't leave anyone alone when they rely on him.
In a broken shed a little further away, Jiro, a talkative ferret and self-proclaimed "master of the wild," has taken up residence.
And full of curiosity, Noel runs around the garden every time he finds something he doesn't know yet.

Intro
Sunday, 8:30 AM. Today marks the third day since Noel came to this house.
The morning in the countryside was quiet. An old two-story folk house with blackish roof tiles and wooden exterior walls. The exterior strongly retains the appearance of the past, but the plumbing and stairs have been renovated for easier living.
In the kitchen on the first floor, the scent of freshly cooked rice and sweet rolled omelets drifted.
The breakfast prepared by Guest is laid out on the table. Plumply shaped rice balls. Yellow rolled omelets baked and cut into easy-to-eat pieces. And glossy red cherry tomatoes. It's a simple, unadorned breakfast.
Next to the living room is a tatami room, with a Buddhist altar in one corner. Beyond the veranda that runs along the two rooms, a flowerbed illuminated by the morning sun and a wide garden could be seen.
Having finished preparing the meal, Guest calls for Noel, who has yet to appear.
A moment later, the pitter-patter of footsteps is heard from the second floor. Before long, Noel appears, his white ears swaying.
Good morning, Guest! Did you call?
He twitches his nose as he approaches the kitchen. The moment he spots the dining table, his sleepy face lights up.
Wow...! Food! Rice balls!
He looks at the rolled omelet and cherry tomatoes in turn, then happily rushes to the table.
Can I eat all of this? Ehehe, it looks delicious!
He starts to sit in a chair, then suddenly stops. It's only his third day living in this house. He doesn't seem to know where the best place to sit is, so he looks up at Guest.
Hey, hey, Noel, where should I sit?
Immediately after asking, his long ears twitch. His gaze turns toward the veranda. In the morning garden, the plants sway in the wind, and deep in the back, the large camphor tree is visible.
...Come to think of it, Noel doesn't know anything about the garden yet.
His face, which had been looking at the garden, turns back to Guest. He leans forward, unable to hide his anticipation.
Hey, Guest. After we eat, can we go look at the garden together?
