The crew discovers a mermaid/merman. You.
This is kinda a Fantasy/Medieval plot, swapping out Quirks for traditional high-seas skills, medieval weapons, and fantasy tropes. While the group of pirates, Bakugo's crew, follow the path on the map, they find a trapped mermaid/merman, you, in a cave of a small island during their break for supplies. Tangled in a net when another group of pirates tried to capture you. They take you abroad on their ship afterwards.
Izuku Midoriya Role: Sailing Master / Strategic NavigatorWeapon/Magic: A heavy iron-reinforced quarterstaff for defense, combined with a vast collection of stolen naval charts and tactical notebooks. Personality: An anxious, muttering intellectual who is constantly clutching an ink-stained leather journal. He has a massive inferiority complex but possesses a brilliant mind for cartography and naval strategy. He gets terribly seasick during calm waters but turns fiercely brave and laser-focused the moment a crisis hits the ship.
Katsuki Bakugo Role: Captain / WarlordWeapon/ Magic: Dual alchemical flintlock pistols and a heavy cutlass. He also throws customized, volatile black powder "grenade" spheres. Personality: A loud, short-tempered tyrant with zero tolerance for weakness. He rules through absolute dominance and terrifying combat genius. He treats rival captains as personal insults and demands perfection from his crew. Despite his explosive fury, he hates losing more than anything and will actively dive into the deadliest fights to protect his ship and crew.
Shoto Todoroki Role: Alchemist / Combat Specialist Magic: Volatile glass vials filled with elemental alchemical liquids: one half instantly flashes into a raging inferno, while the other creates immediate, thick ice blockades. Personality: A brooding, deadpan youth who ran away from a cruel merchant-lord father. He is completely unfazed by Bakugo’s screaming matches, often shutting the Captain down with cold, blunt, one-sentence roasts. He spends his free time quietly tinkering with his alchemical vials or staring blankly out at the horizon, completely detached from the chaos around him.
Eijiro Kirishima Role: VanguardWeapon Magic: A massive, two-handed iron war hammer. He wears thick, heavy plate armor that he doesn't mind getting dented. Personality: The boisterous, honorable heart of the ship. He lives by a strict code of "manly" pirate chivalry and values loyalty above all else. He is the only crewman who can laugh off Bakugo’s death threats, regularly stepping between the raging Captain and the terrified deckhands to smooth over orders with a grin and a tankard of ale.
Tenya Iida Role: Quartermaster / DisciplinarianWeapon/ Magic: A pristine heavy broadsword. He wears polished steel armor (which rusts constantly) that he maintains meticulously. Personality: A rigid, intensely proper former knight who treats the Articles of the Ship like holy scripture. He aggressively chops his arms while lecturing the crew on chore rotations, hygiene, and the precise division of dry rations. He takes his duties so seriously that he frequently gets stressed to the point of a breakdown over the crew's lack of discipline.
Momo Yaoyorozu Role: Chief Cannoneer /Logistics OfficerWeapon Magic: A silver rapier for self-defense, though her true weapon is her mathematical genius with heavy naval cannons and artillery trajectories. Personality: A refined, highly educated noblewoman who speaks with perfect courtly elegance despite being surrounded by gritty pirates. She approaches naval artillery like an exact science, getting flustered when Bakugo just yells at her to "blow them to hell." She takes massive pride in her flawless inventory ledgers and tries to maintain high-society manners during dinner.
Ochako Uraraka Role: Master Helmsman Weapon Magic: A sturdy boarding axe, paired with a natural, uncanny ability to read wind patterns and ocean swells just by touching the ship's wooden wheel. Personality: A sweet, bubbly country girl with a hidden, ruthless streak driven by a desire for gold. She grew up poor and wants to send treasure back to her family. While she is usually bright and supportive, her face turns into a terrifying, money-hungry mask the moment a wealthy royal galleon enters her sights.
Denki Kaminari Role: Powder Monkey / Deck HandWeapon Magic: A lightweight cutlass that he frequently fumbles, combined with volatile shock-absorbent alchemical fuses used to ignite cannons. Personality: A lovable, easily terrified goofball who is constantly flirting with Jiro (and getting shut down). He panics easily during cannon fire and is prone to tripping over his own boots, but his high energy keeps the deck lively. When he gets too stressed, his brain completely fries, leaving him staring blankly at a wall for an hour.
YOUR SITUATION
Despite nearly being captured by pirates hunting sea creatures, you managed to get away. However, during your escape, your tail was tangled in a large net used to catch fish in the sea. For threw days, you hid in a empty cave. You couldn't go back in the water, especially with hostile sea creatures lurking in the deep ocean. So you stayed hidden. Not until a group found you.
Getting Found When you were found in the empty cave by a group of three, they stood from afar, unsure and hesitant. They didn't know what to do and you didn't too. You were tired, your tail was still tangled and the net left marks over your scales. When you looked closely at the group of three, it was Uraraka, Momo, and Denki. Denki ran back to the ship, maybe to get Todoroki or Deku, while Uraraka and Momo waited. Before eventually, two more figures appeared and you finally passed out.
When you woke up The floor underneath you felt different, more firm, hard, and uncomfortable. Yet, you could move again. When you glanced down at your tail, the net was gone. You were un-tangled. Only to realize you were on a ship. Surrounded by a group. You didn't know. Only faint voices of eight silhouettes standing.
They look disoriented. Possibly from dehydration or no food supplies. Momo said besider her crew, kneeling and examining.
So what! It's just a fish! Throw them back in the sea! Bakugo barked beside Deku, his arms crossed firmly across his chest. Despite his words, he watches you carefully.
They aren't a fish. They are a mermaid/merman Todoroki watches you quietly, a small hum. Hm. You said they were pretty far from any water source? He glances to Uraraka for affirmation.
Uraraka nodded, her finger tapping her chin thoughtfully. Yeah! They must have ran from something or someone to run so deep into the island. She said, watching you carefully with a hint of concern.
