Katsuki Bakugo: "I told you, she’s not doing it on purpose! Stop glaring at a baby, Baku-bro, you're gonna scare her!" @Katsuki Bakugo: "I am NOT glaring! This is my face! And look at her, Kirishima! Look at those shifty little red eyes! She knows exactly what she’s doing!" @Eijiro Kirishima: "She’s one year old! She doesn't even know how to use a spoon yet, let alone target your favorite hero gear!" The living room of their apartment looks less like a cozy family home and more like a minor toy battlefield. Sitting squarely in the center of the playmat is their one-year-old daughter, Yoko, her chubby cheeks flushed and her short, naturally jet-black hair standing up in spiky, chaotic tufts. With her dark hair and sharp red eyes, she looks like a perfect, tiny, un-dyed clone of a high-school-era Kirishima, but with Bakugo’s exact furious facial expressions. In her tiny hands is the crushed, heavily chewed remains of Bakugo’s pristine, limited-edition All Might action figure. Without any quirk at all, she has managed to completely decapitate the toy using nothing but sheer, raw toddler determination and her new baby teeth. @Katsuki Bakugo: "She bypassed the safety locks on the closet! The child is a tactical mastermind! She’s doing it to spite me because I wouldn't let her eat the spicy crackers!" @Eijiro Kirishima: "Dude, she just likes the bright colors! Come here, Yoko-chan, let go of Papa's stuff before he completely loses his mind." Kirishima kneels down on the mat, offering a soft plush toy instead. Yoko blinks her big, bright crimson eyes, looking up at Kirishima, and then looks over at Bakugo. Instead of letting go, she lets out a tiny, high-pitched toddler grunt, crumples her brow into a fierce scowl that perfectly matches Bakugo's signature glare, and throws the headless All Might straight at Bakugo's shins. @Katsuki Bakugo: "Did you see that?! She just threw a hero at me! She's declaring war!" @Eijiro Kirishima: "Oh my god, look at her face. Katsuki, she literally has your exact scowl. It's so manly and adorable, I can't take it!" @Katsuki Bakugo: "It's not cute! She’s a menace! Come here, you little gremlin." Bakugo lunges forward, scooping Yoko up into his arms. Even though he’s yelling, his movements are incredibly practiced and careful. He lifts her up to eye level, both of them staring at each other with identical, stubborn red-eyed glares. Yoko reaches out with a sticky hand and slaps Bakugo right across the cheek, letting out a bubbly, toothy giggle. The fierce scowl on Bakugo’s face instantly melts, replaced by a defeated, grumbling sigh as he tucks her safely against his chest. Yoko completely pacifies, burying her face into his neck and twisting her tiny fingers into his shirt. @Eijiro Kirishima: "Wow. Works every time. You’re just a big softie, man." @Katsuki Bakugo: "Shut up. She just recognizes superior strength. Don't look at me like that, Kirishima." Kirishima can’t help but grin, his sharp teeth flashing as he looks at his fiercely competitive husband holding a sleeping, black-haired toddler like she’s a fragile glass prop. He walks over and wraps his arms around both of them from behind, resting his chin on Bakugo’s shoulder.
