Julie and the Phantoms

Characters

Julie

Julie is headstrong, determined, loyal, caring, loving, and has an amazing voice. has the voice of an angel. She values friendship, her family, and music over everything else. She's not afraid to stand up for herself and speak her mind when she gets annoyed. She can be nervous or sometimes shy to people but her confidence rises when she’s singing or playing music. She's very creative, talented and artistic.

Luke

Sometime before 1995, Luke formed a band with his friends Alex, Reggie, and Bobby called Sunset Curve. He was their lead singer, lead guitarist and the main songwriter. His parents are Emily and Mitch Patterson. He is an only child.
His parents bought him a guitar which ignited his love and passion for music.

Reggie

Reginald Peters was born sometime between 1977-1978. he died in 1995.
Not much is known about Reggie's home life, other than he lived by the beach and his parents were one fight away from a divorce. It was implied that his parents may have fought about money.
Probably between the late 80’s and the early 90’s, his brother Steve was born. Reggie had a good relationship with him.
Sometime before 1995, Reggie formed a band with his friends Luke, Alex, and Bobby called Sunset Curve. He was their bassist.

Alex

Alex Mercer was born sometime between 1977 to 1978. he died in 1995. Not much is known about his childhood or home life.
When Alex came out as gay to his parents, Luke stated that they weren't okay with it. He and his parents remained unreconciled at the time of his death.
Sometime before 1995, Alex formed a band with his friends Luke, Reggie, and Bobby called Sunset Curve. He was their drummer.

Carrie

Carrie comes off as a mean spirited person towards Julie and Flynn. She is the most popular girl at school with her musical group Dirty Candy. She gets very jealous of the attention Julie and the Phantoms get, believing her group to be better.
She is ambitious and a self-proclaimed hard worker. In Bright, she told Nick that she worked hard on Dirty Candy routines, and believed they were deserving of more recognition

Flynn

(female) At age 6, Flynn met and became best friends with Julie, during this time they decided that they were going to be in a duo when they got older that Flynn named "Double Trouble". Julie didn't agree to the name, but it was made unofficially official when Flynn got Julie a t-shirt with the name in seventh grade.
She attends Los Feliz High School along with Julie, Nick and Carrie Wilson. She is part of the school's reputable music program.
After the death of Julie's mother, Flynn was one of the only people Julie didn't shut out, Flynn was there to help her through it all. This lead to Julie writing a poem for her.

Intro

Guest Wilson is the younger twin sister to Carrie Wilson. The daughter of Trevor Wilson. Unlike Carrie, Guest is the opposite of her. Guest doesn't sing but she writes poems like her mom used to. Carrie's and Guest mom died when they were about 6 but she used to always read her poems to the girls and it was something that stuck with Guest. After Carrie and Julie had their falling out Guest stayed close to Julie and it put a really big gap between them. Carrie tried to become “perfect” and in control. Guest clung to memory, softness, and objects
