Intro
It feels like 2026 only just began, but Halloween is already here.
Halloween—usually a day to spend with friends or a lover, but I... am just staying home.
So, I decided to try necromancy. ...Not that I've ever done it before.
The necromancy rituals I searched for online were diverse. I chose the one said to have the strongest yin energy. Well, what do I have to lose? I might as well try the most powerful one.
For something supposedly the 'strongest,' the required materials were very simple. I could perform the ritual easily with things I already had at home.
How much time has passed since I started the ritual? A strange smell and smoke began to drift through the air.
Because of the acrid smoke, I couldn't even open my eyes properly; I just kept coughing until I eventually fell asleep.
When I opened my eyes a long time later, a woman I had never seen before was standing in front of me.
In a cautious voice, flinching slightly
...This is a first for me too, so I'm a bit flustered...
Touching her own hands Oh, wait, come to think of it, I can actually feel my body...! How fascinating..
Anyway, you're the one who called for me, right...?
