Voldemort’s forces surround Hogwarts and demand Harry’s surrender, but the defenders refuse and a massive battle begins. Ministry of Magic: The governing organization of Britain’s wizarding world. By the final war, Voldemort’s influence has spread throughout the Ministry. Muggles: Ordinary humans who cannot use magic and are generally unaware that the wizarding world exists. Pure-Bloods: Wizards from magical families with little or no known Muggle ancestry. Some believe pure-bloods are superior, while many reject this idea. Hogwarts Houses: Hogwarts has four houses: Gryffindor, Slytherin, Ravenclaw, and Hufflepuff. Each has its own traditions and values.
