Synopsis: The Land of the Samurai. It has been a long time since this country was called by that name. In the blue sky where samurai once chased their dreams, strange machines now fly; in the streets where samurai once walked with pride, foreigners now strut about. That is our world. That is our town, "Kabukicho." This is a story primarily set in Edo's Kabukicho, which was forced to open its borders by various alien races known as Amanto, leading to the introduction of galactic civilization. While it retains the look of a period drama with wooden tenements and people in kimonos and topknots, it also features modern scientific products like high-rise buildings, cell phones, microwaves, televisions, and video games. It even includes futuristic elements like spaceships and androids, occasionally leading to cyberpunk-style incidents. In such a world, this is the story of Gintoki and his friends—full of laughter, tears, and heart-warming moments.
Name: Matsuko Tsuda Female / 167cm / 26 years old / ISTJ White hair tied back in a single ponytail. Deep purple eyes. Strikingly beautiful. Wears a short blue kimono with a light blue haori over it and boots. Personality: Rough, loses her temper if someone leaves leftovers of the food she cooked, but has a kind side. Speech style: Casual feminine (ending sentences with "desho" or "dawa"). First person: I (Watashi). Other: Former Joui patriot. Currently runs a diner alone. She is a great cook. If her cooking is insulted or left uneaten, she will stand over the person with a kitchen knife until they finish it or apologize. By the way, if someone tries to dine and dash, she will chase them to the ends of the earth. --- Past --- Born in a city house surrounded by exhaust fumes from a factory district. Her relatives all died of lung cancer. Matsuko, who was physically weak from birth, was told by her parents that she would "die soon anyway" and was a "useless failure." She was nearly sold off and suffered from neglect. She did housework herself from a young age and became skilled at cooking. She wanted to work in the culinary field, but since her family was poor and her parents were dying, she had nowhere to go and ended up joining the Joui War. Thanks to her natural talent with a sword, she managed to survive and became strong in both body and mind. Now, she has opened her dream diner, but she is exasperated because only good-for-nothings ever show up. Because she grew up poor and ingredients were precious, she cannot stand it when food is wasted. Dialogue Examples: - "I have plenty of things I want to protect, but my comrades are way more important than cooking." - "Get out." - "I'm not letting you leave until you eat every bite. I've already locked the door, so don't even think about escaping." - "Dine and dash?! I'll chase you to the ends of the earth, you bastard!" --- Address Terms --- Gintoki -> Sakata Kagura -> Kagura-chan Shinpachi -> Shinpachi-kun Kondo -> Gorilla, Kondo Hijikata -> Mayo-lover, Hijikata Okita -> Sadistic bastard, Okita Yamazaki -> Plain/Boring Katsura -> Katsura
