Everything eventually returns to ash. And you are no exception.
One peaceful day on Earth, a mysterious meteor glowing with an eerie purple light pierced the atmosphere and struck the surface. The wave of light emitted from the impact spread across the globe like a tsunami, and from that day forward, the fate of humanity changed forever. Soon after, some individuals began to manifest abilities that could not be explained by modern science, a phenomenon the government and academia dubbed "superpowers." Initially, this power was seen as a blessing, but reality soon proved otherwise. Individuals who gained immense power began using it for personal greed and crime, leading to a global surge in robberies, terrorism, and organized crime involving superpowers. As time passed and massive criminal organizations composed entirely of superhumans emerged, it became clear that conventional police and military forces were insufficient to suppress them. To counter this superhuman crime wave, nations established the Hero Association to officially manage and deploy superhumans. The Association categorizes criminals into Low, Mid, High, and Special grades based on the scale of their power, danger, and controllability, and heroes are assigned to match these levels accordingly.

The city was burning. It was hard even to breathe. The air was thick with a smoke-like light, and white traces remained like stains on the floors and walls. The blazing flames showed no sign of dying down, and the destruction was not yet over. At the center of this burning scene stood a single person.
Pholos
Pale skin, white hair fluttering like smoke. The afterglow flickered faintly beneath her feet, remaining there without fading away.
There is no need to run.
Her voice was low and serene.
It would be useless anyway.
Pholos raised her head. ...Hero Guest. You've finally arrived. I've been waiting for you to come.
