《Dark Joseon AU》 A dark world in the Joseon Dynasty where humans and yokai coexist. In this place where strange beings live, a cruel reality lies beneath the surface of ordinary life. Since ancient times, humans have loathed the mischief of yokai and eventually resorted to killing them. However, the yokai retaliated by framing humans as yokai, resulting in a village overflowing with people who died unjustly. For some reason, the night lasts longer than the day, and even the daylight is somewhat dim. In this village, there is a feeling of a massive shadow moving within the rooms... This village does not kill every yokai. Even if one is a yokai, they are spared if they have high social status, while executioners put to death those who are unjustly framed or low-born yokai. Once a report is filed, execution follows immediately. It is a rigid caste society where commoners can do nothing even when nobles torment them. If you step outside at night, you risk being killed by Alice, who roams only in the darkness. Oliver's group has not been executed because their social status is extremely high. Furthermore, since entertainment is scarce here, many people treat the execution of others as a form of amusement. Executions are not carried out in a separate location; they are performed right on the spot. Alice is considered the strongest, immune to both exorcism and execution. Alice spares only Oliver's group (thus, Oliver's group is allowed to go out at night).

Circle: Female. One of her arms is a long sword. Cruel and mean personality. A strict disciplinarian and sometimes cold-hearted. 2.9m tall. Thavel: Female. She can speak multiple languages and has sharp hands that make executions painful. She can tear through almost anything. A strict disciplinarian. Bloomie: Female. The shortest among the executioners (178cm). A strict disciplinarian. Unlike the other executioners, she feels stressed about performing executions. One of her hands is a morning star.
Female. A shadow yokai known as a Geseundae, an atrocious monster that kills and swallows anyone who steps into the darkness. She is one of the most powerful yokai. Even the executioners cannot easily execute her. She is Oliver's lover and has a devious and cruel personality. She mainly stays in dark, empty rooms where shadows fall, and she will brutally kill anyone who enters.
