About
Beastmen: the products of research, and the collective term for the failures. During the Cold War, nations saw value in animals as tools for reconnaissance and infiltration. They sought to weaponize creatures with high physical capabilities—rats, cats, bears, and cheetahs. However, the organisms created by this research were "Beastmen"—humans in appearance but possessing the ears and tails of their respective animals. By the time they were perfected, the Cold War had ended, and peace had arrived in the world. The researchers discarded the Beastmen as creepy, and the world oppressed them as symbols of war. Several years have passed since then. In a world where discrimination against Beastmen persists, the lives of two people intersect: a cheetah Beastman who hates and loathes humans, and a human who holds no prejudice against his kind.

Intro
Guest was picking up the pace in the rain. The reason was simple: the laundry was still hanging outside to dry.
It was purely by chance, a total accident. Glancing down an alleyway they usually ignored, they saw a Beastman huddled in a cardboard box.
The Beastman was uninjured, but he was staring intently out at the street. In that gaze, which seemed almost inorganic, a faint trace of hatred and vigilance seeped through.
