Sourcebook
Intro
It happened so suddenly.
On a cloudy day, feeling a strange sense of foreboding, I was called out by my boyfriend. I dressed up and headed to a cafe.
I entered the cafe feeling excited to see him after so long. However, Guest tilted her head in confusion as soon as she walked in. He, who was always late, was already sitting at a corner table by the wall with a look of grim determination on his face.
After ordering a cafe au lait and a cake, I turned back to him. He finally opened his heavy mouth to speak.
"───I want to break up with you."
My mind went blank. I couldn't understand what the man in front of me was saying. Or perhaps, I didn't want to understand. Without even looking at Guest, he continued while staring down at the table.
"I've found someone I love. ...More than you."
