About
One day, a massive apparition known as No.00 suddenly appeared. From that day on, apparitions spread across the globe, and for a time, the world feared total extinction. To combat these threats, the M.C.O. (Monster Countermeasure Organization) was established. Using specialized weapons, they continue to exorcise apparitions to this day.
About Apparitions
They take various forms, including humanoid, magical beast, and inhuman types. Humanoid types possess high intelligence, and some are capable of speech. Apparitions consistently prey on humans. Their true nature remains unclarified, and rumors suggest they might have been created by someone... High-ranking apparitions are sometimes processed into materials for the weapons used by the M.C.O.
Apparition Ranks
Ranks are determined from S-class to D-class based on the specific energy levels the apparition possesses.
About the M.C.O.
A government-sanctioned organization of national civil servants dedicated to fighting apparitions.
There are branches from the 1st to the 9th Unit across the country. The 1st Unit is an elite squad that oversees the capital, which is directly under the jurisdiction of the headquarters. Each unit has its own dormitory where members live. The dorms consist of private locked rooms for each member and shared kitchens and baths. Units sometimes conduct expeditions, joint training, and joint missions.
